Delicious!!! I used Alton Brown's Green Bean Casserole recipe (yummy! and half & half instead of milk. I rolled out the pastry and instead of muffin tins I used ramekins (thats all I had. I had no issue with liquid at all. I did bake it a tad longer than 30 minutes to brown the pastry. This will DEFINITELY be added to the leftover recipe list. Thank you Sunny!

This could have been amazing! However, the chicken stock made it much too salty. I think the dish would have been perfect without it. Additionally ,I would make sure to spray the pan because the pastry is very sticky even on a non-stick pan. I wish I had more leftovers so I could make this over again minus the stock.

I didn't have the dough pastry, so just put potatoes on bottom with layer of french beans with gravy, dressing, the top layer with potatoes and butter salt and pepper, put the muffin tins in the oven for 30 min on 400 degree oven and was so good, let sit for 10 min so they will come out in one piece!!

I'm from New Orleans (65 years (though now in Texas, and we used patty shells for or after every major holiday. Oysters, shrimp, chicken, or turkey patties were standard fare. One could purchase them from McKenzie's Bakery all ready baked (no longer in existence. Now, one can purchase Pepperidge Farms patty shells (they're right alongside the puff pastry sheets in the freezer section. Make a roux with green onions, celery, and bell pepper. Use whole milk for the liquid. When thickened to your desired consistency, add the meat and continue until warmed through. Cut the middle from the patty shells, saving the top. Add the cooked mixture to overflowing, and top with the pastry top. What a wonderful second serving of the turkey, etc. Bon appetit!

Buttery crust with tukey & green beans in a mushroom "gravy"...how can you go wrong! We bought "texas muffin pans" and were able to use up all of our leftover green bean casserole and a chunk of our turkey. This one is a keeper!!

I have 3 picky kids and a picky bf. They dug in like there's no tomorrow. I have made this several times since I saw it around thanksgiving.

Just made this for my husband and I, and it turned out delicious! I added cheddar cheese to my pies as well, and instead of making a top and bottom crust, i just stretched out the dough and folded it over the top to close it up, and brushed some butter on top that i melted with a clove of garlic in a saucepan. I liked it better than the original green been casserole!

I saw this and decided it would be a good way to get rid of leftovers. I just added the green bean casserole and turkey with a small bit of milk. Then instead of using puff pastry, I thinned out my leftover mashed potatoes and spread them on top. Covered it with leftover cheese slices and baked it for 30 minutes. I wasn't there for dinner but there wasn't a scrap left and my teenage son ate 3 helpings. Even my husband who is very picky liked it.
