Made this for company. Got raves. I made the separate layers several days ahead of time and kept them refrigerated in containers. Just before dinner, I assembled the dish as directed and then baked. I also heated the gravy. What wonderful comfort food. Thank you.

I MADE THIS THE OTHER NIGHT AND IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. I READ THE REVIEWS FIRST AND THE ONLY THINGS I DID DIFFERENTLY WAS I SEASONED THE GROUND BEEF A LITTLE MORE. I ADDED XTRA WORSTCHESHIRE AND A LITTLE XTRA GARLIC. I ALSO ADDRED SOUR CREAM TO THE MASHED POTATOES AND BEFORE TAKING OUT OF THE OVEN I SPRINKLED HAVARTI CHEESE ON TOP UNTIL BROWNED. THE GRAVY WAS AMAZING. SO EASY TO MAKE. I WILL BE MAKING IT AGAIN FOR OTHER DISHES. THANKS SUNNY YOU ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE COOKS. ACTUALLY YOUR SHOW IS THE ONLY ONE I WATCH RELIGIOSLY.

I love this dish! The only change I make is to season the ground beef a little more than the recipe calls for by increasing the amount of spices and adding some minced garlic. I found the beef to be a little bland when made as written, but that's just my personal preference. I also love the mushroom gravy! It really adds to the dish for me, but my family could take it or leave it.

This was so good and my kids loved it! They came back for seconds. I hate peas and loved the twist on vegs. I didn't add the red pepper or the gravy. Good job Sunny! I never liked Shepherds pie --so thank you I do now:

I just made this recipe and I must say I will continue to pass it down my family, the instructions were simple and the flavors hit every direction of my taste when I attempted my meal,I'll highly recommend anyone to try.

This is amazing! I made this last winter, and my 5 year old loved it so much she remembered it and has requested it for her birthday. So I had to look it up again. Can't wait to taste it!
