One of the best dishes I have ever made. Took a little while to put together but soooooo worth it. My 18 year old (who just eats what's put in front of him wanted to know what it was because it was so good! Thanks for another winner, Sunny!

Followed this recipe exactly and was very disappointed. This recipe is a 3 step process and it takes some time to put it all together. I have had better tasting sheperd's pie and only tried it because of the high reviews this recipe received. My husband and I didn't like the wine gravy and will not make it again.

OMG!!! This recipe is AWESOME! You don't even need the gravy; but I can tell that's gonna be good. I messed it up because I tried to sub the wine with red wine vinegar :( I even like the mashed potatoes alone. Easy to prepare, and I have a small kitchen. I will make this recipe again and again. My picky eating 7 year-old even likes this dish. Sunny, you are the best! "Give this recipe a try!"

Everyone loved this pie and really didnt need the gravy. I would have like a little more flavor in the ground beef but all in all it was good. Will make again.

I've made this twice now and absolutely love it!! Didn't care for using Havarti with dill; the regular Havarti tasted better to me.
I think the mushroom gravy makes the dish!

It was as easy as it looked on tv.. I did make a few changes due to my health. I used milk and not cream in the potatoes. and cut down on the butter,, the butter I did use was "I can't believe it's not butter". No one complained. My son who hates everything loved the spice in the meat.
