My friends and family love the stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon so I was worried about trying something new, but they loved this! We will definately put this recipe in our file of favorites.
I fixed the stuffing exactally as instructed, the only change I made was on the preparation. I stuffed the peppers the day before the gathering then stored mine on folded alumnim foil and covered. When I was ready to cook I just picked up the row of peppers on the foil, removed the cover and placed them on the barbecue.

Made these for the Superbowl also. Used reduced fat cream-cheese and spicy chorizo. Still used the hot sauce too. These were a hit! They were gone within 10 minutes of placing them on the table. The gouda was great, but am thinking about trying different cheeses for the next time I make these!

Made these yesterday for the Superbowl - there weren't any left! I did make a few changes at the last minute:
1 Used fat free cream cheese - no noticable texture difference
2 Omitted the hot sauce because my brown chorizo was VERY salty.
3 Had 1/2 a can left of smoked chipotles in adobo sauce - chopped them up very fine and added for additional heat. LOVED the smoky flavor!
4 Also used the mini multi-colored red, orange and yellow peppers to stretc filling - also provided a nice milder version for those that can't handle the heat.

Overall - they were FANTASTIC! Thanks Sunny!

I love this recipe!! I have made these a couple of times in the past year. You can serve them warm or cold. I think cold is better as you can taste all the flavors that are put in there. I brought them to Thanksgiving in 09' and they were a hit. Made them for a birthday party too and now I get asked to make them everytime.
    Thanks Sunny, you rock!

After watching Sunny make these a few days ago, I rushed out and bought all of the ingredients! I prepared them for our casual, family Christmas Eve get together. They were a HUGE hit, especially with my son and son-in-law, both spicey food lovers! I prepared the recipe EXACTLY as written EXCEPT for the hot sauce. I didn't have the sauce that Sunny recommended and felt as if an equivalent amount of Tabasco sauce would be WAY too much! So, I added just a few drops of Tabasco. I highly recommend using latex gloves and also a breathing mask when working with the jalapenos (I learned this when making 6 dozen grilled jalapenos for my nephew's graduation. Also, lining the baking sheet with foil or parchment is a must as the peppers do tend to spill over a bit. All in all a great recipe.

Amazing! These are so easy and so delicious! I served them to 16 people at Christmas dinner with grilled spicy shrimp, smoky beef tacos, and Bobby Flay's red wine sangria. It was such a hit and everyone wanted the recipe. Thank you!
