I thought these looked great from the show. There shouldn't be a disconnect between the show's recipe and the one posted here.

I made the ones from the website. The first set stayed in a ball shape and the middle never cooked. The second set I flattened into patties and were better while still warm, but as they cooled they got really hard. They taste good, but I can't possibly serve them like this.

I too watched Sunny make these cookies on Dear Food TV and wrote down all the instructions which called for 1 cup of flour and no water just like the previous reviewer said. After baking the cookies for over 15 minutes they ran together and made one giant cookie that never hardened. I threw away the remaining batter and went to the website to get the recipe which was completey different than what was shown on the show e.g. 2 cups of flour instead of 1, baking soda instead of powder. Although they tasted "ok" they looked "nothing" like they did on TV. They were small, round and soft instead of large, thin and crispy. Don't waste your time or money making these. This was my first time making a Sunny Anderson recipe and unfortuantely it will be my last..

I just watched the holiday special "Dear Food TV" and wrote down this easy cookie recipe as Sunny made it, rewinding to get all ingredients. Sunny didn't give amounts for the spices so I had to look up recipe and I am happy that I did so. I discovered the tv version is different than the version given on site. I haven't tried either yet but hope I won't be wasting ingredients when I do make them. I may have misunderstood her ingedients from tv but the flour amount was different 1 Cup vs 2 Cup, baking powder vs baking soda, no water was mentioned, and oven temp was different. I have had trouble (tv and site recipes differing with Semi Homemade in the past. I may have to move on to more reliable sites in the future!
