The only change I made to this recipe was that I deep fried the wings because we like them extra crispy, and therefore didn't marinate the wings b/4 cooking them.

The sauce recipe was made exactly as written. There was no way that this was enough for 3 lbs of wings-either that or I like them saucier than others...I ended up adjusting with more liquids to make enough sauce. The flavor was nice, -heat and sweet with interesting undertones from the ginger and citrus but I didn't love it. The sauce was a little thin even though I reduced it down, it never really came into that syrupy state that I was expecting. Very thin sauce so it didn't cling well.

I made this to test it out b/4 the Superbowl and I am glad I did, I think I am going to try something differnt just to be safe.

I'm kind of puzzled by the last two reviews. I made 10 lbs. of these wings last year for Super Bowl and they were gone within an hour of putting them out. Making them again this year on request although I probably would have made them anyway. I haven't found a better *baked* wing recipe.

I was a little worried by the amount of liquid that came out of the wings on the first round of cooking as the recipe does not tell you to pour it off, but I just dumped it back into the marinade and reduced the glaze a little longer before the second round in the oven.

You might also consider wearing gloves while handling the uncooked marinade. I had some pretty gnarly welts on my arms from the habaneros.

Followed the directions except I cut the cayenne amount in half. Neither my husband or I liked them. Won't be making them again.

This recipe was AWFUL. It was very hot, had terrible flavor, and was a huge disappointment after mixing so many ingredients and marinating it for hours.

I've made these several times - each time I've doubled the marinade and split the spicy level to have 2 types. Everyone loves this and the marinade is so awesome - USE IT FOR PORK, CHICKEN...you name it! I've baked only - grilled only - baked and then grilled! TERRIFIC!

I made this for a group of friends and they loved them. My family thought they were the best wings they ever had. Thanks Sunny.

I tried this recipe, and followed it to the letter. This recipe is a must try for wings lovers ! I made these over the holidays, and had to go back and make them a second time for New Year's Day. Delicious !!
