This was so good, my husband loved it and it will definitely be on our favorites list! Thanks Sunnie! Buffalo mozzarella was not sold at my grocery store so we just used regular fresh. It didn't seem right at first to use the canned whole tomatoes, but it worked! It was so yummy, especially after the fresh basil melts into the cheese on top!

This is the best pizza recipe I have ever tried! I make it all the time for my family. I went on vacation with my sisters and their kids and made it for them too. It was an easy recipe to remember, the trick is to find the right bread to split in half. The grocery store brand of focacia bread was too thin. I had better luck with artisan type loaves from the bakery. All you need to do is experiment. I also agree with the other reviewer who advised to keep an eye on the time in the oven. It is easy to burn. I love the smell and taste of the fresh basil leaves on top. Good Luck!

I probably would have rated this 5 stars if I hadn't burnt the pizza. I probably could have pulled it out at 15 minutes but set the timer for 20 and by that time the bread was burnt. However, my husband loved it and I will make it again. Next time I will watch it just a bit closer to make sure it is perfect.

I am a pizza lover just like the other people who have rated this recipe. This is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. It has such a unique flavor with the crispiness of the crust and the fresh squeezed tomotoes to the fresh basil on top. My husband is very picky and he loved this recipe. My daughter who is 15 months enjoyed it too! A must try recipe, once you have it you won't want any other kind of pizza.

I am a pizza lover. Its been my favorite food since I was young. I love to make my own pizza, and try new recipes. This one is my new favorite, by far! I saw it on TV and had to try it for myself. I could not find all the ingredients so I had to substitute in sliced baby portabella shrooms and artisan chibatta bread. It turned out awesome. Must try. The baked bread is a great idea. It takes the time out of making your own crust. Who doesn?t like fresh baked bread covered with simple yet tasty pizza ingredients. I?m having it tonight and can?t wait:

This is really a great pizza receipe. The crust is perfect, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked throughout the pizza. I usually make my dough from scratch - so this saved me some time! My husband loved it--as did both of my kids who are 7 and 4! It is now a family favorite.

Sunny, I have tried many many many different ways to make pizza at home. And I'm talking mosting in the making of the crust. All the way from professional chefs here on this site to private recipes. Never have any turned out tasting good. Always doughy. Always some type of taste problem. And, never like I'd ever get if I ordered out. This recipe caught my eye. I found the bread at a store and purchased it. Because of so many failed pizza tries I was skeptical the whole way with this. I didn't use your exact topping ingredients. More just the traditional. But, both my husband and I were ooing and awing while eating our pizzas. Next time I will try your toppings as you have them. You beat out a lot of competition with the crust issue and really deserve 10 stars! Many many thanks Sunny for this recipe. The search is over! These pizzas I made were SPECTACULAR!
