    First time I have made chicken fried steak and it was delicious. Love the potatoe and gravy topping. I started the potato and gravy before the steak so the potatoes would be done when the steak was. Worked out great.

    Very, very good. I've made chicken fried steak before, but didn't know the trick of letting the meat rest, after the egg & flour dipping. It made a difference. Thanks Sunny, love watching your down-to-earth cooking.

    Love chicken fried steak, but never tried to make it. This was excellent. Left out cumin because I don't like it. And I confess I didn't make the gravy because I didn't have time (used Libby's Sausage Gravy-pretty good with only the addition of some buttermilk to thinHubby thought it was great, even liked the creamed spinach & buttermilk biscuits I made with it. (If he likes it, we keep it!

    So good!!! I have made chicken fried steak in the past, but using this recipe was the best...I only made the Chicken Fried Steak, exactly how the recipe called for. And the breading on the steak was crispy and stayed on the steak. I have read a few reviews saying that it wasnt crispy, that might be because the oil wasnt hot enough! My husband LOVED it!! Will definitely be making it again.
