My husband loved this. Letting the meat sit in the seasoned egg wash made this flavorful thoughout.

M ... one of the easiest ways to insure your coated dishes do not turn out soggy is: 1. make sure you first pat dry whatever you're coating. 2. after coating the food, let set a reasonable time before cooking/frying/etc. (I generally let mine set at least 1 hour, & if doubled dipped, a 3 hr minimum. Believe me, your onion rings & all other coated foods will reward you.

Seby ... someday, when you become a mature adult, perhaps then you will come to appreciate some of the simple comfort food recipes that not everyone of your culinary expertise knows how to prepare ... for these recipes, we have to thank chefs like Sunny, & the other FN chefs, that provide us with the methods to put good, comforting food on our table on a daily basis. Grow up kid, pompous is not considered an admirable adult attitude.

How ingenious to put potato chunks in the gravy. This is a very very good dinner.
