These were the favorite among everyone who tried my Holiday cookies this year. The peanut butter and powdered sugar mixture is a little difficult to work with and these were messy to make. I was a little worried about them being too sweet, but they weren't too sweet at all and the flavors are amazing.

Tastes great, but pretty rich. When I found the recipe I though this would be fun and a breeze to make, I wasn't exactly right. It takes a little more effort than the recipe would have you believe and be prepared to make a mess. When finished I was wearing a good coating of powdered sugar and unless you can preform miracles you will be removing marshmallow fluff from some surface (likely your hand. Also, don't try to add some extra marshmallow (even if you love the stuff, like me, it will ooze all over the bottom 'coin'.

AMAZING!!! I read the reviews & took several recommendations so this wouldn't be so labor & time intensive. I used all the ingredients except the marshmallow fluff & the coconut flakes. I substituted the crunchy for smooth peanut butter; 2 cups of powdered sugar instead of 5; dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate & I also used the puffed rice cereal. I mixed all the ingredients together (except for the chocolate & placed it in a pan. I refrigerated it for about an hour. I melted the chocolate chips & added a tiny bit of creamer. I covered the top of the peanut butter batch with melted chocolate and I let it cool. Then I cut them into squares. These were amazing! Not too sweet and the perfect texture. They didn't look like the picture listed but the squares were still very nice as I placed them in holiday tin cans! I had people ask me for the recipe!! I loved them and I'm not a peanut butter fan.

Yes, these were messy but SO much fun to make and eat. I read all the reviews beforehand and followed everyone's amazing advice. DO get your hands wet while working with the dough, DON'T use five cups of sugar (three will do and DO have fun with it.

I love these! They were a huge hit at my office cookie swap last year. However, they are incredibly time consuming. When I finally finished assembling each tiny cookie, I vowed I'd never make them again -- but then they were such a hit! I don't know that I'll take on the challenge of making these again... maybe in a half-batch as it does make a ton of cookies. Definitely delicious, but make sure you have enough time and patience to devote to all the different steps.

I love, love, love these and have made them for christmas for the last two years to rave reviews. I have made a few changes that help with most of the problems in the negative reviews. 1 I always use the puffed rice. 2 I use only 2 1/2 to 3 cups of sugar. 3 I freeze the coins or balls of dough before dipping them in chocolate. You don't need the marshmallow-they are divine without!

I have a huge sweet tooth and love marshmallow, but these are way too sweet, even for me. I think there's a typo in the recipe--the 1 1/2 sticks of butter need to be melted to get the ingredients to hold together. It doesn't work well with just softened butter. These are also very labor-intensive. The melted chocolate does not adhere well and it makes a huge mess. If you do decide to try these, definitely make them small as recommended because they are tooth-achingly sweet. I wish I'd read some reviews first, either I wouldn't have made them or I'd have tried the 9x13 pan method.

Great Cookies. they may be messy and time consuming to make but they were worth it. I saved time by rolling out large sections of the dough and using a shot glass as the cookie cutter. I have made them twice now and everyone loves them.

This meal makes too much of a mess for its outcome. It is also too sweet! Maybe if it was gram cracker instead of gram crackers crumbs, or even if it had pretzels in it, adding crunch, or a salty flavor isn't enough for this recipe's dissatisfying sweetness!

Even with the modifications in the comments (13x9 inch pan instead of trying to make cookies and only using less than 1/2 the recommended amount of powdered sugar, these are a disaster.
They fall apart and crumble in your hands when you try to cut them into bars. They are too sweet (STILL!. And they are so rich as to almost be inedible.
I'd much rather eat traditional smores (essentially all these are if you go with the bar modification and they are about 1000x easier to make and actually less messy!!!
