Even with the modifications in the comments (13x9 inch pan instead of trying to make cookies and only using less than 1/2 the recommended amount of powdered sugar, these are a disaster.

They fall apart and crumble in your hands when you try to cut them into bars. They are too sweet (STILL!. And they are so rich as to almost be inedible.

I'd much rather eat traditional smores (essentially all these are if you go with the bar modification and they are about 1000x easier to make and actually less messy!!!

I followed the reviews and didn't waste time making cookies the way it was written. I mixed the pb, butter, powdered sugar and graham crumbs together. I put half in a 9 x 13 pan, put half the melted chocolate over it, layered the marshmallow fluff next, then the rest of the pb mixture, followed by the last layer of chocolate. I put each layer in the fridge for 20 minutes or so. In the end, i think they tasted pretty much the same. They were delicious, regardless. The kids loved them, and they helped me make them. The neighbors loved them. Overall, I think they were a hit. I would have given the recipe 5 stars if I hadn't changed it up.

I tried this recipe around christmas and was completely frustrated by the entire thing. I didnt really pay attention to the size of the "coin" you're supposed to make. So needless to say i had not so bite-size cookies. I was ready to shred the recipe and never look back.

The problem was EVERYONE LOVED them. I mean LOVED.

I'm taking a second swing at them tonight, and reading the reviews - there are alot of good ideas. I'm not sure if I want to try them in a pan or try the log idea.

Either way my family is BEGGING for more. I hope second time is a charm.

I just laughed as I read all the reviews. I made these, with my granddaughter, at Christmas. At the time we made them, I commented to my granddaughter (age 3 that these were a mess to make, and she said, "We'll never make these again!" My adult kids loved them, and called them "crack nuggets". My son's girlfriend just called from NYC, and asked me for the recipe for the crack nuggets, and said my son and she were longing for them. I went into my computer trash and found the recipe, and gave it to her. Now I'm copying it down. They are truly awesome, and now I see, well worth the effort. I'll be more creative with the chocolate coating and graham cracker crumbs next time. Just forget the marshmallow fluff unless you're a real sugar freak. We did them without that, and they were to die for. Also I would prefer dark chocolate chips, rather than milk chocolate....less sweet.

Imagine two homemade peanut butter cups rolled in graham cracker crumbs and marshmallow fluff sandwiched in the middle. Very sweet and decadent. I also found you had to work fast to dip the peanut butter in the chocolate before they broke apart. They were relatively easy to do, but time consuming in having to refrigerate after each part. They were too over the top for me, but my kids like them. I will not do again because there are easier recipes with similar results.

This has got to be the worst recipe I have ever attempted. What a waste of time and ingredients. After making the peanut butter balls, which was the easy part, I refridgerated them as the recipe says. When I went to dip them in the melted chocolate it became a real mess! The chocolate was way too thick and was hard to get off the extra so it became a gloppy mess! Even my 9yr and 5yr old thought they looked gross. I would not recommend this recipe to anyone who is thinking about trying it. You would be better off making just a Buckeye, which is much easier. I like Teresa, ended up just spreading on the chocolate, and sprinkled on some graham cracker crumbs. They taste good, but not easy to make. Glad I only made half a recipe.

I agree, this was difficult. I ended up just painting the chocolate on the tops and rolling the discs in the graham cracker crumbs. I did pipe the mallo cream on the side with the chocolate. The discs just melted in the chocolate, so this was an ok substitute. They were delicious and good thing they are so small since they are very rich.

These little S'more bites are decadent!!! I am a sweet fanatic and these are definitely sweet...I agree with others that they are almost too sweet, but make them small and eat just one or two...I'm in the middle of making mine for Christmas and as I began to dip them into the chocolate, I realized it was going to take way too long! So, my husband suggested I brush the chocolate on with a brush and then put the crumbs in a sifter and sprinkle them that way....what a time saver!!!! plus, it cuts down a bit on the sweetness since only one side of the coin has chocolate on it. Hope this helps some of you!
