This recipe is extremely authentic and well worth the extra effort. My son just went to Germany and raved about Currywurst so I had to try this. He told me it was as good as any he ate while there, and he ate many! The only difference he noted was they were not served on a bun so you can mimic that and save yourself the extra carbs!

The Curry Wurst was first served in Berlin in 1949. Germany consumes around 750 million serving every year. This is another creative way to serve the Curry Wurst, but the make it easy and more authentic, us a polish kielbasa or a coarse bratwurst, grill the sausages until little brown, place on plate, slice in 1/2 inch disk, top with curry powder and curry ketchup (I purchase the German curry ketchup at our local World Market or you can buy an Amazon, enjoy!
