Made this for the first time tonight. In about 3 more tries, I'll have it down. I added a little turbinado sugar, and like another poster mentioned, adding some heat makes a difference (although I didn't do that this time. I will also use only a little of the bacon grease next time. For someone who doesn't eat enough veggies, this will be one of my go-to servings of green stuff! The flavors were perfect, including the balsamic vinegar, and this was very easy to make. No all day slimy collards for me!!

This was so delicious! I added a tsp of water and cooked it a little bit longer. It was so scrumptious!

Other than cooking the greens longer, it turned out delicious!

I did enjoy the flavor that the dried tomatoes gave. I had to cook them longer than any 2 minutes. It took about 1.5 to 2 hours the time it usually does when they are boiled. I like mine tender and they are not tender just because the greens wilt. After that I forgot to add balsamic vinegar, but they were GOOD. Thanks Sunny.

This was really very easy and quite tasty. I must say I'll eat my greens much more often if I don't have to spend forever boiling them! I actually used turnips rather than collards as that was what I had in my 'fridge. Even with that substitution it was wonderful. I'm looking forward to trying it with collards as it's written!

The ingredients are not listed under ingredients. They should be there to make sure you have everything you need. You can't verify if you want to make the dish until you read the directions which are confusing also. Love your show, but please make the recipes a little more reader friendly. I look at ingredients before I see if I want to try a recipe.
