Made these wings for a Christmas Day Brunch and they were the talk of the day! As a matter of fact, we had to make a 2nd batch the next day. What a great recipe to make fried chicken at home. My recommendation is to cut down the cayenne amount to 1 & 1/2 tablespoons instead of 2 if you like us were worried about heat for the masses. They were so good that most of my family ate them plain with no barbecue sauce. However, I'm a big fan of the Spicy Butter Basil sauce. We fried ours in a wok and in my sister's fry daddy and both worked out excellently for crispy gorgeousness!!! We will continue to make these for years to come!

I've made these at least 5 different times, and every time they've gotten great reviews. Even my little siblings like them, and they are the most picky eaters I have ever met (13, 12, and 9. My boyfriend loves them, my co-workers, everyone! In fact, I'm making them again tonight for Monday Night Football.

I've been a fan of Sunny's show from day one and when I saw her make these wings, I just knew I had to try it out. The wings came out extra crunchy, due to the use of the cornstarch. And with the seasoning in the egg wash, combined with the seasoning in the flour, the wings have LAYERS of flavor. The honey BBQ sauce is great, the most popular at my house and the spicy butter sauce was good too. I made these wings at our Super Bowl party earlier this year and at every other cookout/gathering we've had since, and everyone says they are up there with the best wings EVER. They truly taste as if they came from a resturant. Thanks Sunny for this excellent, crowd pleasing recipe! And oh yeah- this recipe is a bit time consuming, took me a total of almost 3 hrs to make, but trust me- the results are well worth it!

I'm not a fan of chicken wings but my boyfriend is. So we tried the recipe and they are so good! Now my boyfriend does them on his own. We make a big batch and freeze them. On week nights, all we have to do is warm them up in the oven and they taste as great as freshly cooked.

I love this recipe for the crunch of skin and coating. I soak my wings, thighs and breast meat in buttermilk and Krystal hot sauce for 24 hours, drain them, sprinkle on my barbecue dry rub and follow the recipe at the flour/cornstarch stage. The crust makes all the difference!

i got tons of compliments on these and they looked beautiful when i served them....of course, they were delicious. i only tried the basic spicy sauce...good stuff!

I finally decided to try this wing recipe after reading the reviews. I was only able to try the lemon lime zest because my family was hungry and didn't want to wait for the sauce. This was the best fried chicken batter ever. I was very crispy. I will always use this batter next time I fry chicken. The only thing I added to flour mixture was Lawry's seasoned salt and some garlic powder. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

This is just so delicious. I can't begin to describe it. The breading is delicious and crispy. I never thought of using cornstarch and heavy cream as a part of a frying batter but this is just ridiculously tasty. All the sauces turned out great. I increased a couple of things in the BBQ sauce and it was delicious. My favorite one was the zest mix wings. I follow these steps to perfect frying anytime I fry anything!! 1,000,000 stars Sunny!!
