I made this , then sent the picture to my sister to rub it in! Then i sliced it and took a piece to my hubby and one for myself. She called me and asked what it was, anyway ...Great recipe only change i made was to make more cream and added a lil more sugar to make it sweeter. Love it when the recipe is what it is!!!

I tried to make the batter in a batch for 4 logs like I do with pumkins logs, so I don't think the peaks were as stiff as they should have been so it was pretty moist after it cooled. It still turned out ok and tasted good. It is such a light desert. I also added a little sugar to the strawberries since they were not that sweet. It was pretty easy overall.

This was an easy recipe to make. We used key lime juice because didn't have distilled vinegar. We baked our meringue for 17 min to get the nuts & coconut toasty. We will toast the nuts & coconut separately the next time. I didn't know that heavy cream and sugar created whipped cream. Fun recipe and we enjoyed it.

This recipe is so delicious and easy to make. It's like angel food cake but easier. I added a little more coconut than the recipe called for....I just didn't think 1/4 cup was enough. I also doubled the recipe for the whipped cream just so I had enough to spread onto the entire cake (which by the way turned out to be just enought for my taste. Try this recipe....you won't be disappointed!!!
