Very good! Beverly, you could try this recipe with cream cheese. That's another alternative. I would try a Chev (for a goat cheese.

Beverly, you could try feta cheese as a substitute for the goat cheese. Spinach and feta go great together.

    Hi Girls and Guys,

My husband and I don't care for goat cheese .
I was wondering if anyone would tell me something I could use instead of it.

Or maybe I bought the wrong kind of goat cheese .
Could someone tell me a good one to buy?

    Thanks Bev in

I made a minor change cooking this in a regular muffin tin to serve as a side with grilled pork chops. My family "loved" it. It was my first time working with Phyllo dough so it was slow going at first. Also I used Havarati cheese, so I can't wait to try it with goat cheese. Also I put the remaining portin in a baking dish, cooking it for another 5 minutes and served it as a dip with pita chips, excellent.

These are fabulous. I used goat cheese that my mother-in-law sent me from Europe. They turned out perfect. I kept eating them before I served them. They did taste a little like quiche. One last thing to Leeann. Even coming from an English teacher, I found your comment to Mary rude.
