This is a great recipe for two reasons, it's fast and it is good. We have made it healthier by using multi-grain saltines. You can use any kind of chips on it also. My favorite is half Milk Chocolate and Reese's Peanut butter chips. Oh WOW!. Half Butter Scotch and Half Milk Chocolate is pretty good also.

Delish! If you like sweet and salty mixed together, you will love this! And this was so easy to make and I had all of the ingredients right in my pantry. I love that!

Giving it a 3 out of 5 because while it is a SUPER EASY thing to make, I found it a little too sweet for my liking. That said, all my kids would give it a 5 out of 5 because they liked it! lol

I love this! Easy to make and usually have ingredients on hand. Just finishing my second time now. Even my husband, who doesn't eat many sweets, loved these!

OMG my 14 yr. old daughter has made this 4 times in one month. A recipe to pass down our family from gneration to generation - and yes, its known as "Crack".

Followed the exact recipe except I used dark chocolate chips. These things are so decadent with the perfect mix of soft layers and a crispy texture all in one. Trisha said her family calls these things "crack" because they are so addicting. She's right! Make them - you will not be disappointed! Everyone at the party asked for the recipe. It was nice to make something no one has had before!

Yummy...in two weeks I had made this 5 times for nieces and nephews! However, instead of saltines, I have been making these with honey graham crackers. I'm using 1 1/2 sticks of butter as well (and a dash of cinnamon in with the brown sugar. And another twist, I layered it in a pan after they were set up with vanilla pudding and sliced bananas. After layering, top with whipped cream...oh Lord it's not low cal, but dang it's tasty!
