So easy! Great recipe! I added some mushrooms and green chillies making it hot and sour. Also i didnt have canned pineapple and used orange juice for the sauce! It tasted fantastic!

Yum!! Fast and easy to make. "You can make this ANYtime!!" from my husband. My only change was to add some sliced carrots, which I steamed in the microwave for 3-4 minutes before adding.

Simple. Fast. Good. I did add a small sprinkle of dried ginger and fresh garlic, as others had suggested. The picky four year old loved it. An easy weeknight hit.

I like the recipe however this may need ot have more flavours in the background. This could have touch pimento and pinch of garamasala. ginger and scotch bonit peper and tomato ketchup.

Quick and light dish, My family and I like it just the way it is but I have made it a few times and I have added garlic and ginger like the sugestion in other review. Is great to add a few of my favorites things and still keeps the originallity of the recipe! ; Yummy

I try many recipes although not many of them do I make over again-this one's a keeper. I make this dish for my family pretty frequently and they love it. I made a few changes to the recipe that makes a nice subtle difference. Try frying fresh ginger and garlic with the chicken and the peppers. It gives it a much more authentic flavor! Also, a couple tablespoons of soy sauce gives it a nice zing. Other than that, hands down best sweet and sour chicken I've had!

At first I was reluctant to try this recipe since there was no breading for the chicken but after completing the prep and letting the dish stand for a few minutes before serving, I enjoyed the most delicious sweet and sour flavor. Once I can manage an impromptu batter for the breading I will probably never order this dish at a restaurant again.
Often times, take out S&S can have a bittersweet aftertaste that almost reminds me of corn syrup, this dish has a rich combination of light sweet flavor and citrus tanginess. Best S&S I've had. Hands down.
