Absolutely delicious! Just like take out, if not better. Like a couple of previous reviewers, I cut back on the cornstarch (to only about a Tbl, if that much. Had I added all 4 T, the sauce would have turned out extremely thick. I also seasoned and coated the chicken (and raw shrimp!! with a-p flour and cornstarch, to add texture. So simple! Definitely a staple.

Last night my husband and I made Beef with Broccoli and this dish! He loved it! I'm pretty sure this will end up being a regular dish at our house! :

My family loved this! It was a really easy weeknight meal and tasted as good as take out, but healthier. I added a little grated fresh ginger and sliced carrots (like the picture. I found the sauce a little thicker for my liking (after adding the cornstarch mixture, but I kept all of the juice from the pineapple can and added most of the remainder to thin it out a bit, and it was perfect. Will make this again.

This was super easy, really quick, and absolutely delicious. I was most impressed by the deliciousness of the pineapple in this recipe-- it was warm and sweet and spot on.

In response to "Sunny California": If you made the cornstarch slurry and added it a bit at a time, which is standard technique with cornstarch, you're better able to control the viscosity of the sauce. I added almost all of it, and it made a perfect glaze.

I was so excited to do this recipe -- was doubtful when I saw the
4 tsp of cornstarch. I cook a lot of chinese, but have never come across a recipe calling for so much cornstarch. But, the reviewa
were so greAt, i thought that might work for this recipe. WRONG!!!
As soon as I put the cornstarch mixture, my dish turned into a pan of GOO. It was disgusting. I am sooo disappointed!!

I thought it was okay - kids hated it - husband felt it was missing something.

LOVED IT!!!! Really great quick recipe. I already had everything needed on hand to make this meal. My kids loved it and I can easily see this being used regularly. I did add some garlic and chili sauce ( i needed the kick.

Very easy recipe to make and also to alter to your own families taste. Try serving it over dried chow mein fried noodles for a total different taste.

This recipe was unbelievably easy...It was so tasty and I followed it to a T with some of my own ideas. I also marinated my chicken in a mixture of soy sauce and garlic and rolled it in cornstarch and fried it some beforehand for some added texture...it was so crispy and soaked up the sauce. I like another user also doubled up on the chicken and added more pineapple. I cooked it in a wok, which I thought made it easier. Will definately save to my favorites. It's a great quick fix.

I was veeeeery disappointed by this recipe. Despite the reviews and the ease of the recipe, it was flavorless. Usually reviewers are vital to my decision to make a recipe, but this one was not a winner after all. This recipe is already trashed and I will not be making again. The sauce was tasty in the pan, but once it was served over rice, all flavor disappeared.
