    This wasn't the recipe that was on the show. Here is what I used according to the items used on the episode. 1/2 c each of sweet pickle relish,chopped onions,chopped carrots and yellow mustard. 2 garlic cloves minced. 2 tsp oregano and 2 tsp of celery seed. I did 3/4 c of finely chopped cabbage and 1-2 tbsp of chili powder(to taste A splash of apple cider vinegar and mix. I let it sit overnight before serving on all beef hotdogs. Yummy.

    First try was a disaster. By the time the full mixture cooked to finale it turned to a rock in the bowl. Looked much better after the first addition of root beer. Probably should have stopped there.

    the recipe turned out fairly well, althogh 48 ounces of rootbeer was a lot, could be cut in half, good flavor, and texture, i like it a lot
