This is easy and delicious. I double the recipe and use a heaping cup of Splenda instead of sugar. Works well with walnuts too

Resisting the urge to add brown sugar or lessen the cayenne pepper, I made these nuts exactly as the recipe says but I forgot to drop the temp to 200 and they cooked the entire time at 250 which seemed fine. I did stir them after the first 40 minutes. The cayenne adds a wee bit of a kick after you have eaten them, you get a slight after effect of cayenne but really only slight. The cumin was not overpowering at all. It is as advertised, sweet and spicy. I like them and it is a nice alternative to Ina's rosemary cashews which I make so often I figured my guests must be sick of them. Go figure!!

I have a similar recipe and it calls for Brown Sugar. I like it better that way.
Can we say ADDICTING?

It's very similar to one I've used for years. I didn't use cumin as I'm not a fan of it, and went with brown sugar. It went together fast, is very good and will make wonderful presents.

Yummy. I went a little light on the cumin. I think they could use more cayenne. On a whim I added some finely shredded unsweetened coconut - everyone thought it was a great addition.

Way to hot. Great idea. We added way more cinnamon and pure maple syrup.

Good, but could use some tweaking. Like the idea though, thanks!

The family went WILD with these nuts! I made this recipe for Christmas and had left overs for New Year's day! I will keep these nuts around as a staple quick healthy snacking.
Note: I added pistachios and almonds for extra variety.
