This fudge is delicious and easy! Every year for my boyfriends huge familiy, I make them gift baskets with homemade cookies, fudge and chocolate covered pretzels. Last year, fudge packages at Sams were so horribly expensive so I decided to try making homemade this year! AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! I didn't have any problem boiling the mixture- it was hard to see when it actually began. I didnt let it boil for 5 minutes, once I saw the mixture was thick and starting to turn darker I removed it from the heat! I made a peppermint version- so pepermint extract instead and top with crushed pepermint candy canes( finally I have a use for candy canes! You won't be disappointed- I promise! :
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

I made this recipe for Christmas presents and there were a big hit!! Everyone loved it and i have already made a second batch. Unlike the other reviewers I got my marshmellow to boil and i didn't scorch. I followed the reipce and they turned out perfect. The best homemade fudge i have ever had.

I did not bring to a boil for fear of scorching. Chilled and had a difficult time cutting, was very sticky. Taste was so good. All chocolate lovers said this was a keeper.

This fudge tastes good, but the sugar remained gritty after cooking and cooling. My marshmallow mixture didn't boil either. I cooked it at a lower temp, to prevent scorching, but it still didn't turn out like it should have.

I don't know what the other reviewers did, but mine turned out hard as a rock. What a waste of ingredients. I wouldn't make this recipe again. I make all kinds of fudge and I don't understand why this was so terrible. The marshmallow boiled and I didn't have a problem with it scorching, lowered the temperature to prevent this from happening. Just wasn't a good quality fudge.

Made this last night with my kids. They loved the names for the ingredients. I didn't get the marshmallow cream mixture to boil. I was worried about scorching it, but it turned out great anyway. I added an entire cup of chopped pecans and it seemed to be just right. It is very smooth and rich. This is a keeper!
