Ingredients
  • 4 pounds cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 tablespoons whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 sticks butter, melted
Directions
  • Special equipment: stand mixer

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, vanilla, lemon, nutmeg, eggs and butter. Mix until evenly distributed. Pour the mixture into a large casserole dish and bake for 2 hours. Serve warm.
