These are not the best cupcakes I've ever baked. I also could not taste the tea and the frosting is very sweet and the lemon flavor was not detectable. The cupcake was good but next time I'll make a buttercream or cream cheese frosting and let the frosting sit so that the lemon zest infuses. Also the instruction for the milk was unclear 1/2 cup for batter and 1/2 cup for frosting but was only to use 3/4 cup of milk.

This recipe could actually make approximately 15 cupcakes. We made twelve as the recipe stated and they all have huge cookie style tops. The size required extra baking which dried the cupcakes out. They didn't taste very strongly of tea, but the flavor was still good. The frosting however tasted overwhelmingly of butter and we were not very pleased with it. It was cloying and difficult to finish a cupcake.
