    This was my first Swiss Meringue Buttercream. It was really good and easy to make, After the butter was all added, it was soupy. I just kept on beating it on high and it came together about 5 minutes later. It's a delicious base, I added 1tsp. of vanilla for a basic vanilla frosting

    Excellent frosting!! I had tried a different recipe for buttercream where you cook the sugar with water and then pour over the whipped whites but that was a disaster. I love the european buttercream frostings and this recipe was spot on. For sure I will be making this again and again.
