Made this marinade in the hopes of making a boring steak dinner a little more exciting...not so much. It did keep the steak juicy, but I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor, too much soy sauce/salty taste. Not for me.

Excellent marinade for steak. I cut the recipe in half and had more than enough for 4 NY steaks. I marinaded the steaks in a vacuum food container because it marinates if a fraction of the time and in my opinion tenderizes and flavors the meat better.

I believe it is called simple math bobbiem53. They are saying they reduced the amount of ingredients on paper and gave us that information. They did not physically measure out and put the recipe together.

I was skeptical about this recipe, we are usually minimal seasoning on steaks, wanting the natural flavor of the meat to shine, but I have to admit, this was really wonderful. I think I am going to try it on pork as well and make pork kabobs with peppers, onions and fresh pineapple on the skewers too.

WOW, just got done with our NY Strips marinated all day (in the refridge and grilled outside. I only had some frozen pinapple slices that had been canned. So I used that juice and then pureed a couple of the slices. Then 1/2'd the recipe for just two steaks. It was awsome and I will do this again!!!

I wasn't too sure about these ingredients but it was the best steak we have ever had. I only marinated it for a few ours, it was tender, and very tasty. Will definitely do this one again
