Excellent. My partner's brother ate 4 helpings Thanksgiving day and said they were the best collards he'd ever had. When we split up the leftovers, he shared everything but the greens!

I tried to make Collards a million times and could never get the "pot liquor" right. My family does not eat pork either, but I saw this recipe on FoodTV.com and I followed it to the letter and EVERYONE, co-workers, family and friends raved about how good they were, said it was like "somebody's grandmother from the south" cooked them! I was so proud of myself and so this is my recipe for greens from now on! Thanks!
