This was a very tasty meatloaf. Lots of flavor and very easy to make. I would make note that on the show she did not do a taste test as suggested in the recipe and also she used flat leaf parsley and not curly.

Yeah, I hate meatloaf. I remember some nasty brown thing from the elementary school cafeteria. I remember it from some potluck I had to attend. My ex-wife made meatloaf for dinner the night she filed for the divorce.

That said, something happened while I was watching Alex prepare this on "The Cooking Loft." I have no idea what happened other than I spent today going from store to store looking for Hot Paprika. (No luck, I ended up with Smoked Paprika.

The recipe was easy to make, it came together exactly as it had for Alex on her show, I popped it in the over and the house was perfumed with the aroma of Tarragon.

What came out of the oven was flavorful, tender (tender in a good way, it didn?t fall apart, but as Alex said, ?It melts in your mouth.?

I cut the enormous meatloaf into four sections and schlepped three over to neighbors insisting that they eat this for dinner.

    The phone hasn?t stopped ringing.

    Absolutely incredible!

Thank you Alex. You have a fan in the Palm Springs, CA area.

Made this meatloaf yesterday and thought that it was just Ok. The Tarragon did give it a new flavor that was very different. I did not use kosher salt, just had the regular type at home and the meatloaf turned out quite salty, so if you use regular table salt you may want to cut down on the salt. I also agree with Tara, who ever is converting the recipes from TV to website is not paying much attention to the details of the TV recipe there have been several recipes that I have pulled off the web site that have not jived with what you see on TV. I do enjoy the new Cooking Loft show it is one of the best of the new shows that have started this fall!!

It was soo easy to make and everyone ate. My hubby could not get enough of it. He hates left-overs but he had it for lunch, dinner and lunch again. Thank you so much. I look forward to more of your recipies!

The tarragon adds a great dimension to the flavor of this meatloaf. My wife could not get enough of it. Loved it with a simple side of steamed cabbage

I love the ingredients in this meatloaf very much... The only thing I have to address is that I just watched the show and there are errors in ingredients printed on this website... She never put Paprika and the parsley was flat leaf parsley not curly parsley. Being italian I have to stress that flat leaf has much more flavor than curly and I find that alot of shows I watch have misprints on the actual website for viewers... Is there anyway to correct these mistakes so that the recipe will indeed turn out exactly the way the chef makes it??? Just asking since I and many of my friends and family take recipes off the food network... Thank you for your time and you attention on this matter. I love the food network and love The Cooking Loft.... Ciao!!!!
