I did as others have suggested. I marinated the salmon for a couple of hours. In the meantime I stir-fried some mushrooms, julienned red peppers and French string beans. I pan seared the salmon, then cut it up and added it to the vegetables. I didn't have Teriyaki sauce, I substituted soy and tempura. Very flavorful.

I took into consideration all the comments and ended up with an awesome dish. Doubled the amount of teriyaki in the marinade and put in a dash of Sri racha for a flavor kick. Added pea pods and red pepper for texture and crunch and eliminated the broccoli because it needed an extra cooking step. Cooked all the veggies in the wok first and removed, then put in skinned salmon in large chunks. After 1 minute, I turned salmon only once and put veggies back along with marinade and cooked for 1 more minute. This way the salmon was not broken and was slightly crisp on the outside and just rare in the middle. Wow!

Amazingly delicious and simple recipe.
I followed the recipe but made some minor modifications:
1 used 1 tbsp chopped ginger (jarred
2 used 1 tbsp chopped garlic (jarred
3 instead of skinning and stir frying salmon, prepared as follows
3a. Marinade salmon
3b. Pan-sear entire salmon fillet in large non-stick skillet, 5 min per side
3c. Stir fry veggies in same large non-stick skillet
3d. Remove skin from salmon, and break into pieces in skillet
3e. Add marinade to skillet, bring to boil and give a final stir
3G. Serve
This process makes skinning the salmon much easier, and keeps the chunks of salmon intact in the final product
You could also add 1-2 tsp Sri racha to kick the flavor up a bit.
Serve over brown or white rice.

I thought this was blah. Not a good texture for the fish, not enough flavor.

My kids' favorite restaurant is a Japanese hibachi place where they cook your food table-side, and teriyaki salmon (and chicken is a favorite selection there. My 12, 10 & 8 year old kids all helped with this recipe, and our kitchen smelled like our favorite restaurant once we blended the garlic, ginger and teriyaki together. We made chicken, shrimp & salmon and used peapods and carrots in lieu of mushrooms and this was wonderful! Only thing missing was the huge bill. We will definitely make this again.

I just made this recipe and thought it tasted wonderful! I didn't give it 5 stars because i felt that it needed a little bit more teriyaki sauce to seal the deal. I would have liked to have a little more "juice" on my rice. Otherwise, it was great!

I would make this again but with a little more teriyaki sauce.

This was really easy and quick to make. I 86 the mushrooms-I don't like them. I added pea pods and onions. This was family friendly-if your kids like fish. I would make this again!

This is a healthy, delicious recipe that is easy to prepare. The asian ingredients work well with salmon. I was happily surprised.
