Terry’s Burgers with Turferrific Spices

  • 10 pounds Angus ground chuck
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Pinch of ground anise
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of dark chocolate powder
  • Pinch of ground cumin
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • Himalayan or Hawaiian salt, for seasoning
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 20 quality Kaiser rolls, toasted on grill

  • Preheat a grill to medium heat.

  • Mix the meat, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, anise, cayenne pepper, chocolate powder, cumin and turmeric in a large bowl. Form the mixture into burgers and season with salt and pepper.

  • Grill the burgers to desired doneness and serve on the toasted rolls.
