Very flavorful with about five hours of marination. I used chicken thighs and roasted them at 450 degrees, turning skin side up mid-way through. Used fresh rather than ground coriander. The dipping sauce really is essential.

I guess I am the odd man out. The chicken was great. Followed the recipe to the letter. Cooked it perfectly. Great flavor to it. The sauce was not so good. Out of the 3 of us, my daughter raved over the sauce. Myself and my wife wouldnt touch it after initially sampling it. I'll make the sausce again in the future just for her but we just didn't like it.

Extraordinarily good! The combination of flavors work together beautifully. The lemongrass adds a lovely bright note to the spices. I totally agree with others that the sauce takes the dish over the top.

Made this for the first time yesterday and everyone loved it! I marinated the chicken over night i doubled the portions so it would be enough for 4. added some fried rice and thai ice tea and it was better than most restaurants!

Delicious... Sauce was spicy, but I loved it. I marinated the chicken for about 6 hours. Lots of flavor, you can really taste the lemongrass. Will be making all this summer.

My wife is a picky eater, so I decided to just make this and see what happened. After the first bite she let me know that it is her new favorite chicken dish. Hooray! Because of the pickyness, I used boneless chicken breast (she wont eat chicken on the bone.
This will be made often at my house. I am also going to make gallons of the dipping sauce, It took this chicken to the next level and would be good on any thing from rice to a hamburger.

I don't usually leave comment but this dish is one of the best. I used the marinade on two whole cornish game hen and cooked for 30 mins. total on the grill and they turned out perfectly. The sauce is a MUST-HAVE. I have tried many bbq chicken at several Thai restaurant and the one from this recipe tastes even better than the restaurants'. Using the food processor for the paste is fine. Definitely will make this again.
