I mixed the seasoning spices for the pork and borrowed a spoonful to mix in with the White BBQ Sauce, so I ended up needing more spice mix for the meat. I also added a teaspoonful of horseradish to the white sauce. Great results, definitely a keeper.

This was a good burger with good flavor, but I should have added more seasoning than the recipe called for because allI really tasted was the pork. White barbecue sauce was great but for me anyway, it was overshadows by the pork.

I am not one to follow a recipe (more a method cook Follow this recipe and you will be a star! We have made it 3 times in 2 weeks fro guests and everyone wants to know how to make it. Secret is in the really good bacon and baco fat. Also we had our butcher bone and grind a beautiful boston butt.

All the ingredients and condiments work well together to form an incredibly flavorful hamburger. I did add a few things to the White Barbecue Sauce (garlic powder, finely chopped red onion, salt, white pepper, celery seeds, and smoked paprika, but the kept everything else the same. I also added fresh red onion and thinly sliced tomato as a dressing along with the sauce, bacon and smoked gouda cheese. I am still thinking about the wonderful flavor. I was very satisfied. You must try it.

I've made these 3 times - once for a BBQ potluck, to RAVE reviews! "The BEST burger EVER" from someone not easily impressed 8-. I added some smoked paprika to the white sauce, and used *excellent* Neuske's applewood smoked bacon. Fan-flippin'-tastic! (Much better than the Tratoria burgers, IMHO

I was very excited to make these after watching the show. The bbq sauce is very unique and I loved the smoked guoda. I found the paprika to be a bit strong in the burgers, but that is easily adjustable. My husband called this recipe "a keeper"!

Wow, this burger is awesome!!!!! I made the burgers exactly as the directions state and there is nothing I would change at all. The patties are seasoned perfectly and I love the white barbecue sauce. I can't believe this did not win first place, if the sliders and Michael's burgers were better I can't wait to try them. For now this will be my go to burger......thank you Harold!!!!
