Agree with everyone on omitting the truffle oil. Really deviates from the clean Hawaiian taste. I used mac nut oil instead...and added some chopped mac nuts just before serving.

this is great but don't bother with the truffle oil which is lost in this. also i like to make this up right before serving it so it doesn't sit in thye marinade for too long. yum

Made this the night before a sailing trip for an appetizer. The group couldn't get enough! Excellent and easy! Great for a large crowd. I served with Pita chips because I wanted something sturdy.
Might try something else next time...

I've been eating sushi for 30+ years, but never got into Poke until recently. This recipe is simple and excellent. I use Sriracha instead of the Sambal olek; it is a lot easier to find and flavor is very similar. When making this be cautious on the soy; this recipe has too much soy if you eat this on its own. On sushi rice the soy level is just right.

Too much soy sauce and sesame oil. The favor of the tuna was completely masked. It doesn't make sense to spend $12/bottle for White Truffle oil if you're going to mask it with Sesame Oil.
