These are so easy to make it is easier than opening a box of mix. They are flavorful and very moist. This is not a fluffy, high dry cake. If you want this try something else - you won't be happy.
These are moist, thin , light and very easy to eat 5 to 6 full size cakes. I would make these again the next time I want a buttermilk cake.

I didn't find these pancakes to be very good at all. They weren't thick or fluffy, but flat without much taste, I thought. I think a traditional recipe or even a packaged mix would be better. We threw out the pancakes & batter after two bites.

I love pancakes and this recipe was excellent. I had leftover buttermilk from a cupcake recipe so I decided to whip these bad boys up. The prep time is really only a minute or two. I added about a tablespoon of splenda to the recipe and it came out perfect... not sweet at all, just added a little flavor. I normally like thick, fluffy pancakes, and these were pretty flat, but they were AMAZING.

I double the recipe and make when my boys have friends over... they go like hot cakes!!! LOL Seriously, these buttermilk pancakes are awesome. If you like your pancakes a bit thicker, simply reduce the amount of buttermilk slightly. These do produce a wonderful, light, crepe-like pancake that is perfect with either syrup or fruit. BONUS: I throw a stack in a freezer bag and then nuke them for quick school-day breakfasts. Still homemade and waaaayyy cheaper than store-bought! (I just have to "hide" some of them to have any left over to freeze!

These were just ok. There are definitely better pancake recipes out there. These were pretty flat in shape and in taste. I wouldn't make them again.

The batter was drippy and watery. The pancakes either came out too raw or burned to a crisp. Overall not very flavorful. Would never make again. Threw out the batter and just made them from a box mix instead - much better!
