Definitely worth making again and again. A few adjustments, double the cheese, omit the pepper and lessen the amount of breadcrumbs. Best mac and cheese I've ever had! Thanks!

i agree with many of the other comments. this recipe is great -- it's much easier than preparing a roux, which can be daunting and time-consuming -- but it needs at least a cup or two more cheese and about half as much of the bread crumb mixture. more cheese + less bread crumbs = easy to prepare bliss.

I made the mac & cheese for Thanksgiving dinner. The recipe is one of the best that I've tried. Thanks for the recipe.

This dinner meal is excellent if you love macaroni and cheese. It's even better baked!

The recipe was relatively easy to prepare, but left a lot of dishes in the sink to wash. Adding the Cayenne pepper rules it out for most kids. It was not what I expected, I found it a little dry and to many bread crumbs, not enough cheese. I was looking for a creamier comfort food for a cool fall evening. I will have to try another recipe.

I didn't like this recipe too awful much. I thought the bread crumb crust on top was a bit overpowering. Not cheesy enough either. Cayenne pepper not needed. I didn't throw it away, but I'll never make it again.

Been making macaroni and cheese for 45 years and this is the very best I've ever used. Try it and you'll be like me and never use another recipe again.
