This was amazing! Reading some of the low-rating reviews prior to making it, I decided to cut the bread crumb topping in half. It was perfect!

I've made this recipe several times. In fact, this was one of the dishes that I served for an event that I catered. It's a great recipe and I get many compliments on the dish and requests for the recipe. Excellent side dish!!

I love this recipe. I've been using it for years. I really like baked macaroni and cheese, as opposed to the really slimy kind, so this one is great in my book!

When people change the ingredients to suit themselves, how can they say that they love this recipe? With all those changes, you aren't making this recipe. As for me -- I will never make it again, primarily because it is so dry you can hardly chew it. Unlike so many others, the one thing I did like was the crispy, crunchy bread crumbs on top. But I won't waste my time and money making this again.

Wow! This recipe was excellent. It didn't quite all fit in my dish but it turned out great and was a big hit with my family. Also, I didn't have plain bread crumbs so I used Italian flavored bread crumbs which really gave it a lot of flavor on top of the other flavors that were already there. I will definitely make this again and will probably also use it for a dish to pass at my next pot luck!

I have never made this Mac and Cheese and had anyone say they didn't like it. In fact, almost everyone says they love it. Of course I tweaked it some since I love my baked Mac really cheesy, but overall it is a great recipe.

I love this Macaroni and Cheese so much. It's not creamy like normal mac and cheese but i am perfectly fine with that. The first time i made it i wasn't quite sure but now i make it all the time for my family. The only change i make is i use medium cheddar instead of sharp cheddar. Great recipe!!!!:

I didn't like this recipe! So disappointed because it was so highly rated. I should have read the reviews before. It is not a creamy, cheesy type baked macaroni (What I was looking for. It was drier than I expected. I also thought the bread crumbs on top were too much. If I had to make this again, I would add more liquid and a more creamy cheese like velveeta. I would also greatly reduce or skip the bread crumbs on top.
