    The three layers give it a very pretty look. To me the bottom layer is similar to a chocolate chip cookie. The second time I made it I cut way back on the amount of crust - I liked it better this way. I used Orange extract one time and the other time Orange oil - to me the orange oil gives it a stronger orange flavor than the extract. Its a hit!

    I carefully followed all instructions and used correct amounts of each ingredient. The crust and topping for this tart were good. The filling seemed to have too much butter. Perhaps this recipe had not been tested. The filling foamed and overflowed while in the oven (too much butter? oven too hot? Cooking time was too short also. When done baking and cooling, there was an empty space between the topping and crust. A little filling was left but not much. This tart had good flavor but perhaps the wrong proportion of some ingredients.
