I was surfing the net trying to find a German dessert for our church's version of October Fest, and came across this one. Tried it out and WOW! Everyone loved it!!!!! There were only crumbs left and requests for the recipe. It is definitely going to be a staple at our church lunches and family get togethers. It has only been a week and I already have requests to make it again! So thanks for this wonderful recipe! The only thing I did different was I increased the apples because I bought too many, oops! and used the entire packet of cream cheese.

I had never tried a Kuchen before and had just visited Frankenmuth. Made it on a Sunday night and all 4 of my kids loved it. Very easy to make and wonderful flavors. Definitely a keeper!!
