I made these for my friends for a early holiday dinner and they were a hit! Living in the Central Florida area and being a avid Bucs fan once I saw who's recipe this was I knew I had to make them. Recipe was doubled for 12 people I added mini marshmellows to the top browned them off on the oven then threw on some fresh pecans! Came out perfect!! Enjoy... Go Bucs!!

I absolutely love this recipe. The texture and taste are perfect, I did add a sprinkle of cinnomin to it which turned out great. My daughter and I finished them in no time. This is a perfect recipe for the holidays, or anytime as these are the best candied yams ever.

Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top! I used less butter though...

I couldn't understand how the yams would cook with only sugar and butter, but it did - with flying colors! This dish was an absolute success! I followed the advice of other users (used cinnamon and allspice and made them early and then baked at a later time with Pecans. OMG! My mom told me Yams took at least an hour to cook - Not So! Thanks Keyshawn's mom!
