Loved this recipe! So easy and delicious! Used milk instead of half and half, light mayo, and only half of the cheese. I think it would be great with egg substitute too! Try it, you'll love it too :

I actually haven't tasted this recipe yet but I will say this: do not use a standard-sized pre-made pie crust. It is much too small and quiche batter went all over my counters, oven, and the pie crust. I ended up having to throw about 1/2c. of the mixture out because it wouldn't fit.

Was just a little too rich for our liking but will make it again using milk and less cheese.

Is it unfair for me to give this recipe five stars when I haven't made it the same way twice? I've substituted everything in my fridge and dumped it into the basic quiche, and it resulted in a delicious meal each and every time. So versatile. So for that feature alone, it deserves two stars, right? And so easy--two more stars. And delish, one more star. Note--I wish it had told me the quiche was going to puff like that...that gave me a scare. But it deflates as it cools.

This quiche is so quick and easy - the only thing is in the recipe itself it doesn't tell you to cook and drain the spinach first - but other than that I this quiche is very good.

This is a great base for any quiche. Take a frozen pie shell, clean out your fridge of any meats and cheeses, and add the egg mixture. Mine was turkey bacon and sharp cheddar cheese. Awesome!

This quiche was beautiful! It only takes about 15-20 mins to set after you remove it from the oven and it has a creamy texture. I highly recommend this one for those mid-week late supper nights. It's awsome with some fresh dungeness added to it!
