this was my first attempt at making quiche ...it was simple but delicious. Maybe it was my oven, but it took a little bit longer than one hour to cook. Also allow a little time for it to set after coming out of the oven. I made two and substituted ham for the spinach in one of them...it came out great! I highly recommend this recipe both for it's simplicity and it's taste...I will make it again and again!

I am not much of a cook. I tend to make a lot of tomato soup when left to my own devices. My New Year's resolution in 2005 (at age 41 is to cook a good dinner every Saturday night. My husband was ASTOUNDED. He is a foodie who can look at some randome ingredients and put together a fabulous meal. I made this quiche and made Rachel Ray's deviled ham english muffins as a side dish. Also a great brunch idea. My husband had seconds!

This quiche really is simple and delicious - indulgent, yes, but still a winner. I use regular milk and it's just as good. I also use a frozen pie shell - thawed if I remember to take it out of the freezer. If I forget, then the thing really does need to cook for an hour or more. Big smiles on my husband and kids' faces when we have this for dinner.

I had never made quiche before and printed this recipe off of the internet. My 10 year old son and I had fun cooking this together. It didn't take long at all and tasted very good.

This quiche was very simple to make and it had terrific texture. I prepared one with spinach, shallots, garlic and feta cheese, and a second with ham, mushroom, and asiago cheese. They passed the test at a baby shower with 15 women. Some even asked for the recipe - the mark of true genius!

My husband says its perfect. So easy! I left out the onions, it is a recipe you can make your own - because the custard is perfect.

This recipe is really easy to prepare and a great foundation to build on. I tried adding browned pork sausage and it was great. I think next time (and there will be one very soon I'll try mushrooms and herbs.

I'm just starting to try new things to cook and this was great! It was very easy to follow, using simple ingredients and it tastes great too. My husband loves it and I'm just learning so that says a lot! A+++
