I am really trying to not purchase bottled items such as teriyaki sauce and other sauces that can be made instead of purchased. I am trying to avoid perservatives. This sauce was a hit. I followed the recipe then I spiced it up with a little sugar in the raw. I marinated some salmon in it. I saved a little sauce to brush while grilling. As soon as you walk into the you could smell the house it has a very pleasing aromic sent when being prepared. I got rave reviews from my King. It was wonderful. Not only was it simple but it was also tasty

Sweet and delicious, with just enough of a ginger flavor.

I put it in a stir fry and marinated tofu in it. My 5 year old LOVED the tofu marinated in this sauce.

I added some toasted sesame seeds and pineapple juice to the recipe and it turned out well.
I made a double batch and used half as a marinade for some chicken breasts and made the rest into a glaze. We had some people over for a 4th of July barbecue and the glaze was a huge hit. It was great on burgers and the chicken and, though I didn't try it, I was told that it was really good on hot dogs too.
This was easy to make and tasted great. Deffinately a keeper.

This recipe is one of those must make. You will be glad you did. Add a little honey to put it over the top.

This is a really good sauce, the only thing i did was add a little more sugar so the sauce would be more caramelized.

I was hungry for a good teriyaki sauce, and whated to experiement with a homemade version. I found this recipe to be very easy to make and full of flavor. I made one change to the recipe though, while cooking I though that i might try to make it slightly thicker by adding a bit of honey, while i didn't make it any thicker it did add a nice bet of sweetness to it. Very Good. Thank you FN

This is the best teriyaki sauce that you can easily make on your own. It is great with steak, on a hamburger, chicken---whatever you add it to will taste yummy.

This was a great recipe. I previously made this before without the brown sugar. What a difference! Cooking the flavors together really put it over the top. I would have believed this was purchased from a restaurant. I would use a bit more cornstarch to thicken it up though.
