I followed the recipe without any changes or substitutions. WOW! These are the lightest, fluffiest and most flavorful pancakes I've ever eaten. Cover any unused batter tightly and refrigerate. Keeps very nice for a few days in the fridge. I may even start making my batter the night before just to save time in the morning. Next time I'm trying chocolate chips. Enjoy!!

I have been loyal to my mom's tried and true pancake recipe for years. I wanted to add fresh blueberries so I found this recipe and Boy..a GREAT surprise! WONDERFUL! The only substitutions: I used 1 c. of whole wheat flour + 1 c.flour, and 1 t. vanilla. Made for the Perfect light, fluffy, and buttery pancakes. I didnt' even want to add syrup. AWESOME!

I am so glad I tried this recipe! I have tried to doctor up instant mixes before and had just about given up on weekend pancakes, until now. I didn't have any buttermilk on hand so I used 2 cups of regular milk and added 2 tbsp of vinegar and let it sit while I sifted my dry ingredients and it worked great.

That is what my father said when he took the first bite.

The look of pure ectasy on my parents face was the ultimate reward for me.

I love cooking for them and I am always anxious to see what their response is going to be as they take their first bite. I had nothing to be worried about they were extremely happy. They ate all of them !

I normally use the instant pancake mix because it is easy. This is my first attempt to do pancakes from scratch and they came out perfect!!! It took no time to put all ingredients together and the pancakes came out light and fluffy. I'm very happy with this recipe.

These pancakes are light, fluffy, and tender even when I use half whole wheat, half white flour. I highly suggest trying this recipe.

My hubby and daughter say that it's the best pancake they ever had! I have to agree with them, these pancakes are light and so fluffy.

I have always relied on instant pancake mixes because I was scared of messing up breakfast. You see, long long time ago when I was a teenager I made pancakes and they were tough and rubbery and I have never tried making pancakes from scratch until now.

The best pancakes our family has ever experienced. Light as clouds, what a way to start off the 4th of July. Great for all family gatherings, this will become the go to pancake for all.
