- 2 ounces rye or bourbon
- 1/2-ounce sweet vermouth or Cinzano
- 2 dashes bitters
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish (optional)
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker with ice and gently swirl or stir
before straining into a chilled martini glass.
Serving suggestion: Garnish with a cherry and add rocks if you like.
