I made this for Sunday dinner yesterday. I read the mixed reviews and made two different kinds of BBQ chicken. I wished that I had made all of the Deen brother's recipe. I loved it! It is sweet but that is the kind of BBQ sauce I prefer. Was so easy - will definitely make again!

Chicken was very tender and yummy, but I think it called for too much BBQ.

The skin comes out like muck. You need to grill or broil this after it's cooked or use skinless chicken. As is, disgusting!

This sauce is fabulous--especially if you like homemade BBQ sauce that has a hint of spicyness! I make it all the time! Since I found this recipe, I rarely buy BBQ sauce.

The recipe was tasty but the sauce wasn't as barbequey as I would have liked. It was very sweet if you like sweet sauce, I personally like a good mix of both. I also seared my chicken before I baked it because I like my baked chicken a little on the crunchy side.

This sauce tastes like ketchup and orange juice. I had read all the reviews before making it so I tasted it before putting it on the chicken. I had to add A LOT of extra ingredients like apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, and more worchestershire and some chili powder. Once I doctored it up, it turned out pretty good so I guess it was ok as a base but I would leave out the orange juice.

I used orange marmelade instead of the orange juice! Turned out so good and my husband loved it! Said this one was a keeper!
