    I agree...the sauce is a sure hit. I added cilantro, jalapenos and a little of the sauce to the chicken and cheese mixture. I will definitely be making this again.

    I used ground ancho chile and the sauce had a fresh, authentic taste. I'll never buy canned enchilada sauce again!

    Great for left overs just like everyone else said but I didnt find is as easy as everyone else did. I mean, it is easy, more of a pain to dip just fried tortillas in the messy sauce and then roll them up with sauce all over them etc. But it was worth it!

    I found the enchiladas to be very smokey with not enough spice for my taste; I'm sure this is due to the amount of chili powder called for. They were very easy to make, but lacked the punch I was looking for. All in all, I thought they were just ok.

    I never knew I had it in me to make such a good dish! My husband wanted enchiladas for dinner and I resorted to this recipe... a little while later he was thanking me for the best enchiladas he ever had. Then he told me he planned on going to his mothers house where she had some already made, but he's glad that he didn't because hers were nowhere near as good.

    The sauce for the enchilidas is quite good. It can be prepared in advance and this becomes a very quick meal for a weeknight.
