I love this recipe! I did cut out all the dried fruits because my family is not a cooked fruity kind. I did cut back on the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture and didn't add the cloves...I actually halfed the cinnamon mixture. After those variations...this recipe is a winner in my recipe collections. It's a very good basic recipe with no yeast. I love it! I make them for people all the time and they love them! Love the buttermilk glazed topping. Oh and one more thing...I bake these up in muffin tins and they bake up beautifully.

I made these rolls this morning. What a disaster. I ended up throwing the whole thing down the disposal. I had to add extra flour, and had to bake it for an extra 15 minutes so the bottom of the pan wouldn't be raw...what a total waste of yummy ingredients. As far as the brown sugar in the filling...euwwww...way too much brown sugar. I tossed this recipe in the trash! It was so messy to roll and put in the pan. It sure isn't the tried and true recipe go to I had hoped for. Also, I wouldn't have even given it 1 star, but the computer wouldn't let me give it a zero!

Following other reviewers' advice, I used only the cinnamon, and also didn't add any dried fruit (just personal preference. My dough was a little too wet--very hard to roll up and they fell apart a little, but I plopped them into a 9" springform pan and they still baked up wonderfully! Added some almond extract to the icing as iI felt it needed a little something. Next time (which will be very soon I'll try a little more flour. The springform pan worked well, just removed the ring, and iced them--no need to separate the rolls to cool.

My family loves these! I omit the dried fruit as a personal preference, but considering how quick and easy this, is compared to other cinnamon roll recipes, I am very grateful to have found it.

This recipe was absolutly DELICIOUS! My whole family loved them! AND it was very fast to make... although it took me a while the very first time I made it.

These cinnamon rolls turned out very nice, the dough was very easy to make, although I had to add some extra flour to be able to roll it out. And the finished product was very gooey and tasty (as good cinnamon rolls should be!, but I definetly agree with the other reviews that the other spices (especially the ground cloves are too strong. I'll definetly make this recipe again, but I'll use only the cinnamon and sugar.

I've had many positive comments when I've made these. They are not AS good as yeasted cinnamon rolls, but when you don't have the time, they are very handy.
I too, made some changes. I use only the cinnamon; the other spices were too overwhelming for my taste. I use sour cream in place of the cottage cheese - and skip the food process step. (I make them by hand, no mixer involved. They are fast and easy to make this way, and there is much less clean up. I cut them with dental floss, or a VERY sharp knife. They are tender and delicious. I would give them a try when you are in the mood for cinnamon rolls, but don't have 4 - 6 hours for yeasted.
