I watched Amy this afternoon and had to make this recipe tonight! Being a francophile myself, I loved her French sensibility on the Next Star show and voted for her as well. This recipe worked great, can't wait to see what else she brings in shows to come.

I was a fan of Amy's from Day One. Couldn't wait for today's show. The steak was great ... the potatoes, so easy & good!! Pastries way too fancy, even from my gourmet next door.
And what's up with your set? Dull kitchen. Wrong shirt. Bad dish color. You look like my "gourmet next door" ... not like Food Network!!!!
Good luck ... I am your fan!!! Congrats!!! You SO deserve this.

This was absolutely delicious! I made it with a bacon wrapped filet mignon rather than flank steak, but it was so wonderful! Definately a keeper! You go, Amy!

Amy,
My television compulsion always starts with the Foodnetwork. I watched your first show today and was motivated to honor your success with the same meal. I have been a very good cook but tonight my partner told me that " your" recipe was one of the best meals we ever had ( with a few twists but I used your general foundation. You have a favorite fan in Chicago. I now can be the Gourmet in MY own kitchen. Thanks to YOU, Charles
