Ingredients

  • 2 medium Hass avocados
  • 1 lime
  • Salt

Directions

Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. With your fingers, slip off or peel away the avocado skin, or use a spoon to scoop out the avocado flesh. Place the flesh in a bowl and mash coarsely with a fork. Add lime juice and salt, to taste.

    I love this. I don't use the salt myself. just enough lime to avoid browning. I also use whisk to mash it u. it works wonderfully well for me.

    Exactly the recipe I was looking for today since I've never worked with avocados before. Not spicy with cilantro or peppers, just the basics. I'll take it over to friend's house tonight for New Year's Eve party! Thanks Amy!!!

    Simple, clean, creamy, buttery avocado at it's best. If I want onions, garlic, and tomatoes, I'll make salsa, but leave them out of my guac!!!
