The sauce in this recipe is AMAZING!!!!! I would use it on baked potatoes, too! Overall, a pretty easy recipe to make that was super tummy. Thanks, Aaron! :

This was such an easy side dish to make and my family loved it. The honey scallion sauce was so delicious we were scrapping the plate for more. We will definately make this again.

Used thick sliced red potatoes baked about 20 mins. Wrapped with apple wood bacon speared with a tooth pick and baked until lightly brown after they came out hit them with a little homemade apricot bourbon BBQ sauce. Big hit

Much EASIER! Slice potatoes, spray with veg spray and season with s&p, put on plate and microwave for a couple mins., depending on your oven. cool and wrap with bacan. Put potatoes on baking rack on cookie sheet. Cook at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 mins. Much easier!

I used read skin potatoes and cooked them in the oven with crumbled bacon on top. I was expecting more flavor. They were good but not somthing I am going to make again.

This is a great tasting recipe but better to modify it to reduce fat and cholesterol. Medium dice red skin potatoes, pre cook bacon, (disgard grease crumble, and toss with potatoes. Put this into casserole dish and drizzle honey butter mixture (less is more over all, then bake at 375 until done -about 30 or 40 minutes. Frying bacon wrapped potatoes will let them absorb too much grease and then add honey butter? Our poor hearts!

I just tried this recipe & realize that it might be my techique that made it come out so so. Don't get me wrong it was very tasty but I used beef bacon (I don't eat pork - please don't yell at me and I had a terrible time getting the bacon around the potatoes. I was careful when I parboiled them but still managed to cook them too much (some fell apart but overall they final product was very tasty. I think I'll try a modified version I've seen floated in the reviews and crumbled some turkey bacon with my cooked potatoes and toss in the sauce. Any other suggestions? I appreciate the advice.

So, here was my take. I really didn't feel like having to deal with the wrapping of the bacon. So, I diced up red potatoes (since they cook faster, browned my bacon, melted the butter and honey together, sliced the scallions, and added pepper. Mixed that all together, put it in foil and placed it on the grill for 25 minutes. This was the shortened version. It was pretty darn good! So, if you don't want to deal with the prep this is the way to go.

We loved these. I thought I had too much dipping sauce, but boyfriend wanted it for his pizza the next day.
